Meet Our Founder

Sophia Amodia, Founder & CEO of HVN'S HAVEN

Sophia Amodia founded HVN'S HAVEN out of a deep, personal commitment to holistic healing and community. Her path wasn't a straight line from a textbook. It was built through an herbal medicine certification, training as a plant-based chef at the Institute of Culinary Education in Pasadena, and a genuine belief that mind, body, and spirit are inseparable.

That belief shapes everything HVN'S HAVEN does. Food is spirit. Environment is medicine. And healing happens best in safe space, surrounded by people who see you.

"Healing is possible within when safe space & support is given."

Sophia's vision for HVN'S HAVEN was never to build a single service. It was to build a community. A place where someone navigating hospice care, a family looking for transitional housing, or a person simply craving stillness could all find the same thing: dignity, presence, and support without judgment.

Today, that vision has grown into a team of healers, creatives, and advocates, each bringing their own gifts to the haven Sophia first imagined. Her hope is simple: that everyone who seeks support and belonging can find it here.
